Winners & Prizes
During each season there are at least four different winners: One for each group (see “Groups & Judging”) and one combined winner of all groups.
The winners earn copper prizes sponsored by the TMU Blog according to the following scheme:
- Group Winner - 500 coppers
- Group Runner-up (2nd to 5th) - 150 coppers
- Combined Winner - 500 coppers (+ Group Winner = 1000)
In other words, the maximum total payout for one season is 3800 coppers (three group winners, twelve runner-ups and one combined winner). However, please note that the runner-up prizes may change. For example, if there are too few tracks in the Original Group, there might be less than four runner ups, or even no runner-ups at all (only a winner).
Furthermore, each season may have a specific secondary group to win, for example “Best Name” or “Most Innovative”. The winner of such group is usually selected separately and prizes may differ.
All prizes are paid by the TMU Blog.
